Tonka Rec Basketball League: Grade 3

Registration: Registrations will be accepted on a space-available basis through Sunday, October 5. If your child's age group is in "waitlist" status when you register, it means that teams are full or the registration deadline has passed. Please complete the registration to be placed on the waitlist (your credit card will not be charged unless you are placed on a team). You will be contacted if we are able to get your child on a team. If you register after October 5 and your child is placed on a team, a $30 late fee will be assessed, and player requests may not be available.

Fee: $149 if registered on or before October 5, $179 if registered after October 5.

Team Formation: Teams will be formed based on gender, school, availability of volunteer coaches and teammate/sibling requests. Players may request to be placed on the same team as one other player when registering. Teammate requests will be considered, provided the player you request also requests you. Only one request per player is allowed. Please note that although we try to accommodate these requests, they are not guaranteed.

Coaches Needed!: Have fun coaching your son or daughter and teammates! We'll provide training, resources and support, including a preseason virtual meeting. Coaches should be able to attend most weekly practices and Saturday games. Please note your interest in coaching during the registration process.

Uniform: Players will receive a team t-shirt. Players should wear athletic clothing, non-marking gym shoes and bring a basketball to each practice/game. Grade 3 uses a junior-size basketball (size 5 or 27.5"). minnetonkaschools basketballs will be available for purchase at the minnetonkaschools Community Education Center starting in early September.

Hoop Height: 9 Feet

Refunds: Refunds, minus a $10 cancellation fee, will be given for cancellations received on or before October 5.
