Pediatric CPR & First Aid

This American Heart Association course is designed to meet the regulatory requirements for childcare workers. Learn how to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant until professional help arrives.


The course covers the four steps of first aid and first aid skills such as finding the problem, stopping bleeding, bandaging and using an Epinephrine pen, as well as child CPR AED, infant CPR and optional modules in adult CPR AED, child mask, infant mask and Asthma Care Training for Childcare Providers.


This class is ideal for childcare workers, coaches, foster care workers and others responsible for children including parents, grandparents, babysitters, teachers, youth group leaders, camp counselors and guardians. Certification Received: American Heart Association Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid & CPR (valid for two years)

Lori Wessin is certified American Heart Association instructor. She teaches community education classes as well as classes throughout Minneapolis. It is her passion that everyone learns the lifesaving skills of CPR. Her classes are taught in a fun and relaxed environment. By the end of her course you will feel confident about saving a life.
