Owning an Electric Vehicle

Considering an EV or already own one? Learn essentials of purchasing, charging at home and on the road, using fast chargers and confidently planning everyday driving and road trips.

In the first two hour session, we will meet as a class virtually. In the second session, we will meet at a DC fast charger location to provide hands-on experience in using them. Students will practice charging with the instructor's two EV's (and if the class has any others) before retiring to a coffee shop for Q&A.

Stuart Henry

Instructor

Stuart has been an electric vehicle owner since 2017. In that time, he has purchased three electric vehicles and taken them on many road trips. He is a member of the Minnesota EV Owners group and Drive Electric Minnesota. He served as a volunteer transportation organizer for two climate justice organizations, for whom he testified at state and local hearings. Stuart also worked as a museum educator for three years at the Minnesota History Center.
