VANTAGE Shark Tank: Game Design
Vantage, minnetonkaschools High School’s experiential, project-based learning program, is offering a unique summer camp for students entering grades 6-8. The camp is creative, fun and will teach students how to present and pitch an idea – an important life skill. Join us!
- Do you have what it takes to face the sharks? Join this experiential VANTAGE summer camp and learn how to create a product idea and pitch it to Shark Tank judges!
You will be creating a new board game idea and go-to-market strategy. The objective (besides having fun) is to pitch to the sharks for investment. Taught by VANTAGE teachers, students will create a marketing plan detailing how to build awareness and sell their board game. At the end of the week, students will pitch their board game and marketing strategy ideas to the “Sharks,” competing for their mock start-up fund.
In this course, students will learn how to present with confidence and be exposed to various opportunities in the business field, all while having fun and coming up with a new game idea!
Students will need to bring a bag lunch each day.
