    Ski & Snowboard Club will meet Tuesdays or Thursdays after school and will ski/snowboard at Hyland Hills in Bloomington. Buses fill quickly. Registrations will be accepted through November 16th or until buses fill. SKI & SNOWBOARD LESSONS: Hyland Hills can only accommodate 50 kids for ski lessons and 50 kids for snowboard lessons per day. The first 50 kids registered for each will get those spots. If you happen to register for lessons and we get over 50, we will communicate with you about next steps. Lessons (beginner only): The lesson fee includes two lessons which will be held on the first two trips to Hyland Hills. Lessons are non-refundable. Please have your student's ID number ready if you would like MCEC to use your child's school picture for their ID badge. The student ID number is the number your child uses to access Schoology. If you do not want MCEC to use your child's school photo, you will need to email a wallet-size photo of your child by November 17 to Lauren.Riedel@minnetonkaschoolsschools.org. Fees: -Lift Ticket and Transportation (Basic) $389 -Ski/Snowboard Rental + Basic $505 -Ski/Snowboard Lessons + Basic $425 -Ski/Snowboard Rental + Lessons + Basic $539 Chaperones: We are seeking volunteer chaperones! There will be adult chaperones on each bus, on the slopes and in the chalet. Lift tickets and equipment rental are covered for chaperones, if desired. A mandatory virtual chaperone meeting will occur during the first week of January. The exact date and time will be communicated in the coming weeks. Packet Pick-Up: Packet Pick-up will include an overview of program, apparel sales, ID Badge pick-up, and mandatory waivers! *ID badges will not be mailed. Join us Tuesday, December 8th between 3:30-7:30 p.m. at the Minnetonka Community Education Center (MCEC) - 4584 Vine Hill Road, Excelsior. If you are unable to attend, waiver and rental forms must be signed by a parent/guardian prior to picking up ID badges; badges must be picked up at the MCEC front desk by Monday, January 4th. MCEC Front Desk Hours: Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Saturdays 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Refund Policy: Due to the advance planning necessary for bus contracts, refunds cannot be issued if students withdraw from the program after November 16. Refunds made prior to November 16 will be charged a $10 processing fee. Refunds will not be issued for absences. Substitutions or selling tickets is not permitted. Students dismissed from the program for disciplinary reasons will not receive a refund. If a trip is canceled due to bad weather, make-up trips will be held on Tuesday, February 16th and 23rd OR Thursday, February 18th and February 25th. Refunds will not be given for missed ski and snowboard lessons. Rental or Lesson changes before the first trip will be allowed through January 5th. Please call 952-401-6800.
