Your cheerleaders will learn everything they need to know for tryouts. Cheerleaders may attend both sessions, but only 1 is required for tryouts. Tryout Day: Tryout day will be August 13th at MME Small Gym. Each athlete will attend a 30-minute time spot based on the grade they are going into. Athletes will wear white shoes, all black athletic outfit, a bow with low curled ponytail, and red lipstick. The 30 minute tryout will include: Effort & Coachability, Jump lines (double toe touch & pike) Tumbling skill of choice, and Tryout cheer. We judge stunting ability during learning clinics. Tryout Tips: We are looking for strong effort, energy, coachability, the ability to lead a crowd, and a positive attitude. Cheerleaders must be passionate about cheerleading both inside and outside of practice.
