Extreme Engineering: Motors & Pneumatics
Explore, investigate and solve problems through hands-on engineering. Build learning models, then customize and improve your projects using the principles you’ve learned. This engaging class combines LEGO® Education and LEGO® Technic™ materials to study design, technology, science and mathematics. Topics include design principles, mechanisms, pneumatics, pressure, prototyping, and energy. Possible builds include a scissor lift, stamping press, robotic arm, robotic hand, animatronic scarecrow, and even a dinosaur, blending creativity with engineering problem solving. Mad Scientists Training Academy
You won’t just learn science…you’ll DO science. Don your white coat and goggles…it’s time to begin your own journey to becoming a mad scientist (cue maniacal laugh)! Make and take home a lava lamp, hover disc, explosive volcano and slime. Use all of these experiments to explore and discover the scientific method.
