Get prepared to stay home alone, safely. You’ll learn first aid, safety procedures and what to do in severe weather. We will also review phone skills, explore fun snack ideas and learn interactive games and activities. -
Babysitter Training
Learn leadership, safety, basic care, first aid and rescue skills to become the best-certified babysitter on the block! Must be 11-16 years of age as of the day of class. Please bring a peanut and tree nut-free lunch, a snack and a beverage to class. Students receive an MCE certified babysitter bag with a handbook, activities and first aid kit. Certification received: American Red Cross Babysitter Training Certificate (valid for 10 years). -

Youth Service Day
Make a difference in your community! Develop leadership skills through hands-on projects at Minnetonka Community Education Center (MCEC) and travel to a local community site for a meaningful service impact. Transportation to and from the community site is included. Please bring with a lunch and water bottle.
