Lunch Bunch provides a time for Minnetonka Preschoolers to eat and socialize with their peers. Parents provide a bag lunch. Children must be enrolled in Minnetonka Preschool in order to participate in Lunch Bunch. Children are escorted by a staff member to and from preschool and language exploration programming. MCEC Junior Explorers 2026-27Explorers School Year Juniors: Ages 3-5Junior Explorers is a high quality childcare program for children, ages three through 5 and ages 3 through 4 for summer. At Explorers, we provide children opportunities to learn through a wide variety of activities such as art, music, science projects, cooking, games, writing, reading, crafts, outdoor play, computers, practicing social skills, gym time, dramatic play, and much more! There is a balance of activity options that includes large group, small group, and individual choices. There is a $200 charge at the time of registration. $100 of this fee is a non-refundable registration fee. The remaining $100 is a deposit for care that will be applied to your first months invoice. Contracts withdrawn by Tuesday, April 7 will be refunded their $100 deposit. Contracts withdrawn by Tuesday, June 16 will receive a partial refund of $50. MCEC Key CardMCEC Access CardIn an effort to keep students and staff safe, only the east and south main entrances at Minnetonka Community Education Center(MCEC) will be unlocked. On school days between the hours of 6:30am - 6:00pm., the main doors entering the first floor from the lobby will be locked. Families will need to use a key card to gain access to the classrooms. The key cards are only for families enrolled in Minnetonka Preschool or Jr. Explorers and will be activated for use during your child's scheduled class/child care days and times. Your family may register for up to two key cards and will be charged a $20 deposit for each card. MCEC Key Card Access for Summer Explorers - RSK and KindergartenMCEC Access CardArrival & Access Information: Ready Set Kindergarten (RSK) and Kindergarten students will use the main entrance of MCEC. Access from the lobby to the main program area is secured Monday–Thursday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Key Card Access: Families enrolled in Summer Explorers at MCEC are encouraged to use key cards for entry into the programming area. Key cards will be activated based on your child’s scheduled childcare days and times. Each family may request up to two key cards, with a $20 deposit per card. Deposits will be refunded upon return of the cards. Important Note: If you choose not to obtain key cards, building access before 8:00 AM will not be available. MHS Girls Basketball - Lil Skippers Youth CampBasketballNon-school day? Tonka Girls Basketball has you covered! Learn from the High School Girls Team as you stay active, build confidence in fundamentals and play short-court games. Each athlete will receive a custom MHS Girls Basketball themed shirt, which will allow for free admission to any varsity girls home game! Minnetonka High School Staff will lead the girls in a dynamic warmup to kick off the day, and then players will be split up into small groups to ensure personal attention and maximize repetitions. Athletes will end with showcase games beginning at 2:30pm to show off skills for parents - It’s sure to be a day that your future Skipper will not want to miss! This camp will leave you excited for the journey of development while getting to know our very own lady Skippers! Check-in begins at 8:30 AM!
