Beginner Archery (Level 2)ArcheryArchery improves concentration, physical fitness and is a lot of fun! Learn technique, rules, scoring, history, etiquette and equipment care. For beginners only. Coached by NASP-certified instructors. All equipment provided. Prerequisite: Intro to Archery (Level 1). Beginner Archery will introduce specialized learning for each archer and they will learn to hit their target. This class will cover safety, rules, techniques and prepare them for the Intermediate Archery Class. This course uses curriculum from the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) in collaboration with the Minnesota DNR. We will work on the basic fundamentals needed for the intermediate group. Skills included but not limited to, jumping off the board forwards and backwards in each position, tuck, pike and straight, head first entry skills and backwards entry skills.
