Become a Pokémon master of 3D design by creating your very own Pokémon characters with TinkerCAD. Explore CAD modeling, experiment with shapes and features and bring your digital creatures to life using a 3D printer. Along the way, you will also experiment with SimLab and design Pokémon-themed video games, combining creativity with hands-on technology. The class introduces the basics of CAD modeling and design software while encouraging imagination and exploration. Each student will have two small printed designs sent home. A mini-retreat for incoming 6th graders to ease the transition to middle school with fun team-building activities, workshops and skill-building for success. It’s Spring time and that can mean only one thing, flowers bloom and spring drawing! From baseball to flowers, draw all things spring in this fun class! If you're a baseball fan, you will love our baseball still life lesson day. Learning about warm colors and cool colors will be the focus as our artists draw a detailed exterior of a house. We’ll also learn about legendary artist Edward Hopper as we recreate one of his masterpieces. Finally, we’ll take an imaginary trip to Japan and learn about the artistry of the kimono. -
