Become a Pokémon master of 3D design by creating your very own Pokémon characters with TinkerCAD. Explore CAD modeling, experiment with shapes and features and bring your digital creatures to life using a 3D printer. Along the way, you will also experiment with SimLab and design Pokémon-themed video games, combining creativity with hands-on technology. The class introduces the basics of CAD modeling and design software while encouraging imagination and exploration. Each student will have two small printed designs sent home. A mini-retreat for incoming 6th graders to ease the transition to middle school with fun team-building activities, workshops and skill-building for success. Connect with new classmates and build confidence! With a mix of games, icebreakers, and goal-setting exercises, this retreat will help set the stage for a successful and engaging school year. Adult & Child Stevie Ray Improv
Learn to think on your feet, gain self-confidence, have fun and improve your skills for work, home or school. No experience necessary. If you think, “This is just for young folks,” the majority of our adult students are in their 50s and 60s, and the oldest was 93! Classes are taught by instructors from Stevie Ray’s Improv Company, one of the longest running improv theaters in Minnesota. The class culminates with a recital for family and friends at Stevie Ray’s Comedy Cabaret, located at the famous Chanhassen Dinner Theatre! Stevie Ray’s Improv Company is one of the longest running improv theaters in Minnesota. The class culminates with you performing a recital for family and friends at Stevie Ray’s Comedy Cabaret, located at the famous Chanhassen Dinner Theatre! Students will finish off their program by having a recital at Chanhassen Dinner Theatre for their friends and family. Audience members will be charged $5 to come and watch the recital. Aviators in Training

Take to the skies in this hands-on aviation adventure! In this class, students will learn the fundamentals of flight using industry-leading simulators like Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane 12. From takeoff to landing, they’ll practice real piloting skills while navigating to exciting destinations around the world. Whether they dream of becoming a pilot or simply love airplanes, students in grades 6–12 will gain confidence, curiosity, and a deeper understanding of how aircraft operate—all while having a blast exploring the skies. Format: Hands-on computer-based aviation class using Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane 12. Structure: Short instructional mini-lessons to introduce flight concepts (controls, navigation, weather, aircraft systems). Guided practice flights with the instructor modeling maneuvers and students following along. Independent or small-group flying time where students can explore airports and destinations of their choice. Themed challenges such as “smoothest landing,” “longest stable flight,” or “mystery destination approach.” Skills Learned: Basic aerodynamics, cockpit controls, takeoff and landing technique, route planning, and safe aviation procedures. Equipment: Flight simulators provided and all necessary equipment will be provided. Goal: By the end of the course, students will be able to take off, navigate, and land safely in a variety of aircraft and environments while understanding how real pilots manage flights. -
