Beaks and Boats Exploration with Wilderness Inquiry
Spend an evening in nature with all your SOAR friends as you connect with the environment and to each other. We will participate in two incredible opportunities taught by Wilderness Inquiry. We will be canoeing and learning more about birds and how their beaks have adapted over time. All activities are adapted including canoeing for all abilities to participate. Please bring a water bottle, sun protection, appropriate clothes and footwear for outside/weather and be ready for fun. -

Play your cards right and enjoy a fun night of board games, snacks, and social time! Try something new or stick with a favorite—cookies and drinks included. All skill levels welcome! Games provided. -

Make many projects while hanging out with friends and crafting in an open art lab setting. This is a monthly night to let your creativity take over and make your own masterpieces with materials provided. -

Grab your partner and swing them round and round at our annual summer dance. Lets see your plaid, hats and boots at this hootenanny with DJ Ray of Sunshine. Choose to eat at our Fried Chicken Feast too which includes 2 pieces of fried chicken, 2 sides, a dessert and a drink! Alternatives to fried chicken are grilled chicken or salad which you can indicate as you register. Dairy and Gluten Free Options available upon request. -

Pizza, Pins & Pop @ Park Tavern
Spend a Sunday evening bowling with friends at Park Tavern. Activity includes a few slices of pizza and unlimited refills of your choice of pop, 2 hours of bowling and shoe rental. Options available to bowl only or eat only. The bowling portion of this activity will only be available to participants in the program and not staff/family, support staff are there to assist as there participant needs. -

Puzzle Pals is a monthly hangout opportunity for all abilities of puzzlers to piece together friendships through connection. All puzzles are large piece puzzles, contain 24 to 1,000 pieces and themed every month. For August's theme we will be putting together puzzles and then playing a fun I Spy game to find objects in the pictures. -

Puzzle Pals is a monthly hangout opportunity for all abilities of puzzlers to piece together friendships through connection. All puzzles are large piece puzzles, contain 24 to 1,000 pieces and themed every month. For July's theme we will be putting together Ocean and fish themed puzzles. -
Ride the Streetcar with SOAR
Take a trolley ride with us! Join us as we learn the history of streetcars, take a ride along the lakes and do a themed activity together. Be mindful that the streetcar has 6 stairs to navigate to get on and off of the trolley.
