E-Bike Safety Course
Learn essential E-Bike safety information and traffic laws to stay confident and protected on the road. Minnetonka & South Lake Police Departments will lead a safety presentation with time for questions at the end. Not sure if you have an E-Bike? We will also discuss the various classifications of off-highway motorcycles and motorized bicycles. An adult is required to attend; students are encouraged to join as well. -

South Shore Softball Coed Tournament
The South Shore Softball League, in partnership with Minnetonka Community Education, is excited to host a new Coed Adult Softball Tournament! All teams are guaranteed a minimum of three games, with tournament format determined by the number of registered teams. This is a two-day event, with games beginning as early as 8:00 a.m. each day. Tournament Details: Dates: Saturday, July 25 & Sunday, July 26 Location: Excelsior Commons Field Format: Coed adult teams; independent tournament primarily following USA Softball rules Equipment: Wood bats are required for all male players (wood bats and game balls will be provided) Games Guaranteed: Minimum of three per team Prize: Cash prize awarded to the first-place team (amount based on total team registration) -

Experience the art of Tai Chi through a variety of practices, including Tai Chi and Qigong forms, Acupoints, Tai Chi Ruler, Bang Stick, Baoding Balls and Unweighted Ball exercises. This class is suitable for most fitness levels—participants should be able to turn, bend slightly and stand for at least half the session. Improve flexibility, balance, agility and body awareness while calming the mind and reducing stress. No prior experience needed. Please wear loose clothing and flat shoes (no sandals). -

Enjoy learning tennis skills with other women. This class provides a full-body workout while improving your agility. Equipment is provided. Wear your soft-soled, non-marking shoes. -
Women's Hiking Group
Get out in the fresh air as you hike beautiful local, unpaved trails all around the Southwest Metro. A few of the regional parks and trails utilized will be: Gale Woods Farms, Carver Park Reserve and Wolsfeld Woods Scientific Natural Area. The first two hikes in June will start at 9:30am. Appropriate footwear and attire are an absolute must for the hikes. We step over trees and cross muddy rivers, the trails are root-filled and rocky. We won't be on asphalt, so bring footwear with traction. We will go at a moderate pace, 2.5-3 miles an hour for 60 minutes depending upon the trail, conditions and number of stops to take in the view or check out a wildflower. Participants must be able to stand on one foot unsupported for 10 seconds and walk at a brisk pace for 45 minutes. -
Women's Intermediate Tennis - Rating High 3.0 - 3.5
This course is for current 3.0+ players who have moved up through the previous levels or have competed in tennis at a more formal level such as high school tennis or beyond. Prior instructor approval is needed for this class. You will be placed on the waitlist after you register. Minnetonka Community Education will contact you with whether or not you have a spot in the class. Yang Style Tai Chi
Tai Chi gently eases stress, builds strength, and restores balance. Backed by leading research, this class teaches participants a flowing 40-posture Yang-style sequence for physical and mental well-being. Participants must be able to stoop, turn and change directions. Not suitable for some physical conditions. Participants will improve flexibility, body awareness, relaxation, balance, pain and stress reduction.
