Learn leadership, safety, basic care, first aid and rescue skills to become the best-certified babysitter on the block! Must be 11-16 years of age as of the day of class. Please bring a peanut and tree nut-free lunch, a snack, and a beverage to class. Students receive an MCE certified babysitter bag with a handbook, activities, and first aid kit. Certification received: American Red Cross Babysitter Training Certificate (valid for 10 years). -

Summer of Service
Here’s your chance to make a difference! In this 3-day volunteer adventure, learn about community needs, develop leadership skills and use your strengths and talents in new ways. We will participate in multiple volunteer activities, which may include helping at an assisted living facility, Kids Against Hunger, Simpson Housing, the Humane Society, Feed My Starving Children and more. Homebase will be located at the Minnetonka Community Education Center. Transportation to and from the volunteer sites is included. Please bring a bag lunch, water bottle and nut free snack each day. -
Youth Service Day
Here’s your chance to make a difference! Join us for a jam-packed service day. Learn about the needs in our community, develop leadership skills and use your strengths and talents to make an impact. Participants will spend the morning at MCEC engaging in hands-on service activities and projects that support our community. Around mid-day, the group will travel to a local volunteer organization to take part in a meaningful service activity that makes a direct impact in the community we serve. Transportation to and from the volunteer site is included. Please bring with a lunch and a water bottle.
