Spreading Joy: Festive Holiday Jams
Gain research-based knowledge and hands-on experience in creating two festive jams. Create Raspberry Freezer Jam and boiling-water canned Holiday Jam to take home to enjoy or gift to others.
The class covers everything from food safety and acidity to the proper equipment, food and jar preparation, freezing and boiling water canning techniques. Guided by the Hennepin County Master Gardener Volunteer Certified Food Preservation Consultants from UMN Extension, this workshop promises to be both educational and fun.
