Design your own experience with majors and minors in art, sports and improv and choose from various team-work themed electives. Choose your own path - play as a team. College Schedule: Advisory Group 9:00am - 9:30am Major 9:30am - 12:00pm Lunch 12:00pm - 1:00pm Minor 1:00pm - 2:00pm Break 2:00pm - 2:30pm Elective 2:30pm - 3:30pm Advisory 3:30pm - 4:00pm Class Syllabi: Advisory: Advisory is your opportunity to connect with your peers that may be in other majors. We will be discussing the theme for the week as well as connecting the theme to your daily courses. Your friend request will be for this group only. Majors/Minors: Art: Join the Fine Arts Major and work on independent and group art projects over the week. You will use different materials throughout the week to create various projects. Our Minor program will be more independent art projects using various materials throughout the week. Improv: Join the Drama Major/Minor and learn the basic techniques of improvisation, then move on to performance-level improv performance pieces. Learn how to apply improv skills to everyday life, as well as the stage. Team Sports: Join the Team Sports Major/Minor and participate in various sports and athletic activities throughout the week. You will practice new skills, learn game rules, and take part in activities that promote teamwork and athletic development. Lunch/Break: Lunch/Break will be with the entire group to socialize and connect between classes. Elective: Your elective will be chosen on the day (options will be shared with you during morning advisory). The activities will focus on the theme of Teamwork in some fashion and gives students the opportunity to be in class with different students each day. Please note that you cannot have the same Major and Minor (i.e. Art Major and Art Minor). We want students to have a well rounded "college" experience and be pushed outside of their comfort zone. Students must bring their own bag lunch, two snacks and a water bottle (peanut and tree nut free). Dress for active participation in activities including sun care and gym shoes. Class per Belt Breakdown: Beginners, White & Yellow Belt: 6:00-6:30 pm Gold-Green Belt: 6:35-7:05 pm Blue-Purple Belt: 7:10-7:40 pm Instruments & Sparring*: 7:45-8:15 pm Red, Brown & Black Belt: 8:20-8:50 pm *Concurrent enrollment in a belt class is required.
