Discover large floral installation design in this hands-on 2-day workshop, exploring mechanics, techniques and creative principles using fresh florals, foliage and upcycled art by Minnetonka Preschool students. Students will work with the instructor to build the floral installation. The installation will remain at MCEC through the weekend. Students are then invited to come to MCEC on the afternoon of Saturday, April 25 to remove the installation and take flowers home.

Join us for a well-rounded experience with one skills training day and three days of scrimmages. You’ll receive an MLS GO jersey, shorts and socks. Athletes should bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a snack. Spikes and shin guards are optional. Balls are provided. This is an officially licensed MLS GO Soccer Camp. This class has two sections based on grade. If minimum enrollment isn’t met, sections may be combined.

You won’t just learn science…you’ll DO science. Don your white coat and goggles…it’s time to begin your own journey to becoming a mad scientist (cue maniacal laugh)! Make and take home a lava lamp, hover disc, explosive volcano and slime. Use all of these experiments to explore and discover the scientific method. NOTE: All experiments are physical experiments, not chemical. Students will be provided safety goggles to wear during class. Please bring a water bottle and nut free snack.

Guided by an expert with 45 years of Mediterranean cooking experience, you’ll create a mouthwatering Greek meal that transports your taste buds, no travel needed! Participants will receive a list of ingredients in advance of the class with enough time for shopping and prep and an all-inclusive recipe packet after the class. Note: One registration fee for this class can include immediate family members living full-time in the same home. If children are participating, adult supervision is required.

Form a team of 4-6 friends and compete in a 3-on-3 basketball league at Minnetonka High School! Weekly games are on Tuesday evenings, with referees and varying game times. Teams will play two 15-minute games each week. Game nights will be Tuesday evenings and game times will vary each week. Referees will be at each game. Both the Boys and Girls Elementary League are for students going into 3rd, 4th or 5th grade. Players will have to provide their own shirts for their team. Please bring a light-colored shirt and a dark-colored shirt each week (or a reversible jersey). At the time of registration, students should include their appropriate Team Name as well as the coach for the team. One coach must be on-site at all times while their team is playing and must complete a background check and Concussion Training provided by MCE. You will have the option during registration to list your desired friend requests. If you do not have a team but would like to participate, please call 952-401-6800.
