South Shore Softball Coed TournamentAdult SoftballThe South Shore Softball League, in partnership with Minnetonka Community Education, is excited to host a new Coed Adult Softball Tournament! All teams are guaranteed a minimum of three games, with tournament format determined by the number of registered teams. This is a two-day event, with games beginning as early as 8:00 a.m. each day. Tournament Details: Dates: Saturday, July 25 & Sunday, July 26 Location: Excelsior Commons Field Format: Coed adult teams; independent tournament primarily following USA Softball rules Equipment: Wood bats are required for all male players (wood bats and game balls will be provided) Games Guaranteed: Minimum of three per team Prize: Cash prize awarded to the first-place team (amount based on total team registration)Summer 2026 -
South Shore Softball Oktoberfest TournamentAdult SoftballExperience the thrill of wood-bat softball at the annual Oktoberfest tournament! You will use provided wood bats, play three guaranteed games and chase the tournament cash prize. All teams will be guaranteed a minimum of three games. Wood bats and balls will be provided. A cash prize will be awarded to the first place team (amount dependent on the number of registered teams). The Tournament will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026. All games will take place at Excelsior Commons. This is a one day Tournament with games starting as early as 8:00 AM. This tournament is an independent tournament primarily following USA softball Rules. The tournament structure will be depending on the number of teams registered. In years past there has been a 2 game pool play followed by a seeded single elimination bracket. *In the case of inclement weather, the tournament may be rescheduled for the following weekend.Fall 2026 -
Spanish Language ExplorationLanguageThis once-a-week class allows your little one to develop language experience in Spanish! Language is learned naturally through games, crafts, music and more. Children must be toilet-trained to enroll. For Ages 3-5 This unique, once-a-week class provides students with language experience in Spanish. Learning Spanish is fun and happens naturally through games, movement, crafts, music and stories. This class is an excellent precursor to Minnetonka Kindergarten Immersion and is also a great addition to your child’s Minnetonka Preschool and/or Junior Explorers schedule. Payment plans are available. Curriculum will be the same for Thursday and Friday classes. We recommend signing up for one section (ex. Thursday PM only). Children must be toilet trained to enroll in Language Exploration. This class is offered through Minnetonka Community Ed Youth Programs.
