Sourdough Bread: Demonstration, Hands-On Preparation and Tasting

Master artisanal sourdough from stretch-and-fold techniques to scoring, hydration formulas and baking the perfect loaf. Build practical confidence to fill your home with fresh bread!

Whether you are a complete novice or looking to refine your baking technique, this class will provide the practical confidence and insider tips you need to fill your home with the irreplaceable aroma of fresh bread.

Chef Ann is foodie and a fan of Ratatouille (the movie) and Chef Auguste Gusteau’s philosophy, “Anyone can cook, but only the fearless can be great”. Ann’s version? Be courageous—find good recipes and give it a go. But, don’t be afraid to experiment--play with your food!

Over the years, Ann has hosted youth team events, catered gatherings, and even drove her KitchenAid mixer and boxes of supplies to Milwaukee where she and her daughter baked desserts for a wedding in the tiny oven of a rented cabin. These days, she’s known for sharing her sourdough and other breads with a growing list of happy subscribers.
