Women's Hiking GroupAdult HikingGet out in the fresh air as you hike beautiful local, unpaved trails all around the Southwest Metro. A few of the regional parks and trails utilized will be: Gale Woods Farms, Carver Park Reserve and Wolsfeld Woods Scientific Natural Area. Appropriate footwear and attire are an absolute must for the hikes. We step over trees and cross muddy rivers, the trails are root-filled and rocky. We won't be on asphalt, so bring footwear with traction. We will go at a moderate pace, 2.5-3 miles an hour for 60 minutes depending upon the trail, conditions and number of stops to take in the view or check out a wildflower. Participants must be able to stand on one foot unsupported for 10 seconds and walk at a brisk pace for 45 minutes.Winter/Spring 2026 -
