Lil' Skippers Cheer CampCheerleadingGet ready to jump, shout and cheer your heart out! This is the perfect introduction to cheerleading for young athletes in grades K–3. Over three high-energy days, campers will learn the fundamentals of cheer in a fun, encouraging, and age-appropriate environment. Led by our experienced Minnetonka cheer coaches, participants will explore motions, jumps, chants, basic stunts (non-lifting), and teamwork skills designed especially for early elementary youth. Each day includes upbeat warm-ups, skill-building stations, creative games, and opportunities to perform short routines with their new cheer friends. Little Shooters BasketballBasketballLearn beginner-level concepts through age-appropriate cooperative play and fundamental basketball. Focus on footwork, triple-threat position, ball handling, shooting form, passing, defense and basic game rules. Communication is essential, so you will also learn how to work with others in small group games. Lunch Bunch provides a time for Minnetonka Preschoolers to eat and socialize with their peers. Parents provide a bag lunch. Children must be enrolled in Minnetonka Preschool in order to participate in Lunch Bunch. Children are escorted by a staff member to and from preschool and language exploration programming. If your child is enrolled in Junior Explorers childcare opposite of their preschool day, Lunch bunch is not needed The following preschool sections are not compatible with Lunch Bunch 419-16 and 419-18. At Explorers, we provide children opportunities to learn through a wide variety of activities such as art, music, science projects, cooking, games, writing, reading, crafts, outdoor play, computers, practicing social skills, gym time, dramatic play, and much more! There is a balance of activity options that includes large group, small group, and individual choices. There is a $200 charge at the time of registration. $100 of this fee is a non-refundable registration fee. The remaining $100 is a deposit for care that will be applied to your first months invoice. Contracts withdrawn by Tuesday, April 7 will be refunded their $100 deposit. Contracts withdrawn by Tuesday, June 16 will receive a partial refund of $50.
